Sohaib Maqsood and Irfan star in Tens win

A five-wicket pull from Mohammad Irfan, emulated by an unbeaten 93 from Sohaib Maqsood helped Pakistan edge Bangladesh by three wickets in their warm-up diversion in Sydney.

Bangladesh, picking to bat, lost two early wickets, yet Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah counterattacked, including 168 for the third wicket. Tamim stroked five fours amid his 81, as did Mahmudullah amid his 83. The pair took Bangladesh near to the 200-run mark, however Mahmudullah was run out in the 40th over, setting off a fall that prompted the group losing its last eight wickets for only 62 runs. Aside from Shakib Al Hasan, who contributed with 31, none of Bangladesh's last seven batsmen could make more than 15. Irfan gathered 5 for 52, including three scalps in the last over, to wipe out the tail and reject Bangladesh for 246.

HANDSHAKE ALL AROUND
Pakistan's openers withdrawn right on time in the pursuit, leaving the group problematically put at 8 for 2, yet their center request drove a recuperation. Haris Sohail (39) first set up a 51-run association with Younis Khan (25), after which Maqsood assumed responsibility. With the asking rate climbing, Maqsood and Umar Akmal facilitated the weight by including 63 for the fifth wicket. Bangladesh battled over with two speedy wickets, yet Shahid Afridi ripped three significant fours to race to 24 off 20 balls, before he was released by Shakib. It implied that Pakistan required only seven more runs from three overs, and Maqsood, who hit nine fours and two sixes amid his 90-ball thump, helped redesign the focus in 48.1 overs. Score card
